COVID-19 Guidelines for CUCC Congregation

1. Understanding and reducing our risks:

COVID-19 is highly infectious as is the flu and other airborne illnesses. We must act to avoid putting each other at risk.

2. Keeping COVID-19 outside of the church:

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not come to church …. SEE A DOCTOR

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches or headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

IF POSITIVE do not come to church for seven days. You must test negative and be symptom-free before your return. Please work with your medical professional to clear your return to church.

3. Minimizing contact or spread of the disease within the church.

a. Sunday services will be live streamed for those who choose to remain at home.
b. For in-person Sunday services and group activities:

  • Hand sanitizers are placed at entrances/exits, pews & bathrooms. Use frequently.
  • Masks or face coverings are optional.
